Living Stories for Hope and Change at The Haven Gabriola Island, B.C. April 12 to 16 2019

Living Stories for Hope and Change  is an arts based group story and performance program developed over 20 years in the field of the creative arts in interdisciplinary practice.  Cheryl McLean has facilitated this program for diverse groups and individuals among them physicians, psychiatrists, nurses, dietitians, counsellors, educators, clergy and those who have experienced trauma and abuse.

As we work artistically together we express our own living stories for hope and change.  The program progresses step by step with participants through a supportive and developmental process... accessing lived personal experience individually and together creating and expressing personal stories as original art (visual art, writing ,narrative,monologue/poetry,other) The group moves through the creative journey as a community from story making to performance and on to audience/participant reflection.

The Haven is a ocean side centre for transformative learning located on beautiful Gabriola Island, British Columbia, Canada.
